While giving tennis, basketball and volleyball a try, soccer established a central role in my life. From 2003 to 2017, I constantly improved my technical skills. Starting in youth leagues in Germany, I was called into my high school varsity team as a freshman in the United States. In Mexico, I was assigned the captain role and led the team into the divisional finals.
As captain, high motivation, a productive work ethic and fun on and off the field were some of the most valuable aspects I constantly enforced. Taking up the role of social media manager increased our number of spectators dramatically, boosting the motivation of the team. Habits like showing up on time and going the extra mile in practice ensured that all players shared the same work ethic. And fun… every deserved victory should be celebrated accordingly!
