My bachelor degree was offered by the Munich School of Engineering (MSE), a research center which clusters multiple departments at the Technical University of Munich. MSE offers a great range of support for students, one of which is a mentoring program.
Towards the end of my studies, I was fortunate to provide guidance and motivation to fellow students. Once a week and upon appointment, I helped to set goals, explore possible study paths and identify resources at the university. While I hope to have inspired the students of tomorrow to overcome their challenges, the assignment taught me to be an active and empathetic listener, provide valuable feedback and share my expertise in an understandable and respectful manner.
